Our story began much closer to home and with far more humble roots when a Napier mechanic called Andrew Hollywood set up a vehicle servicing workshop beneath Hospital Hill at Corunna Bay where it was until the opportunity came recently to shift to modern premies on Prebensen Drive and work together with Bay European to provide a seamless sale and servicing hub.

Garry Cammock began working for Andrew in the early 2000s and bought the business from him in 2007.

His extensive experience in European cars began with a decade working for Jeff Gray European in Hastings, followed by several years as a senior mechanic at Holland Park BMW in London and with other European brands in the UK.

As a founding partner of Hawke’s Bay European, Garry extended his skill set into the Land Rover, Jag and Volvo brands.

Owning his own business for the past 17 years at Hollywood Motors has enabled Garry and his team of highly skilled technicians to develop their reputation as Napier’s leading independent European vehicle servicing specialist, with the freedom to work on any brand (including non-European vehicles).

That freedom and sense of purpose has enabled Garry to build a loyal team with some of the most experienced mechanics in Hawke’s Bay, and keep things at a scale that ensures personal care for every car and customer.
